History of the Cotton Club

The Cotton Club, the original fabric club for quilters, was created in 1986 to put great fabrics in the hands of stitchers world wide who couldn't see them otherwise. Our founder, Cheryl Little, lived in the medium-sized city of Boise, Idaho, USA - a grand place to live, but too small (at that time) to support a specialty fabric store handling the cottons quilters desired. From that need came the realization that there were plenty of places around the world just like Boise, and thus, The Cotton Club was born.

Years later, we're still sending 4” cotton swatches all around the world and making lots of friends! Although the fabrics are now on-line, many still want to touch and feel the “real thing”. Besides the 4” square sample is big useable and we have photos to prove it. (A Gallery is our next website Project!)

After two decades of new quilters entering the picture, just about every town in America has a shop dedicated to quilting fabrics. But with the huge growth of quilters, there has been an even greater growth in the number of new fabrics produced every year. We still send fabrics to places that don't have quilt shops, but we find we supply quilters for other reasons, too. We seek out unusual fabrics and work to find pieces you won't find in your local shop.

All our products and services are unconditionally guaranteed - we understand that we don't have all the solutions. If you are not satisfied for any reason, we want to know. Although we want you to be happy with our service, in general, we cannot take returns on cut fabric. If for some reason we do take it back, there will be a re-stocking fee, so please contact us before making any return. The chances are, your money will be cheerfully refunded.
