The State of the Heart Pattern - Softening
A visual and creative discovery of the innerheart, one that is experiencing a change over time. Pattern includes instructions for 2 designs. We have a kit for the wall hanging on the left - finished 9" wide x 14 1/4" high. The Words on Silk on the wall hanging are optional. The soft sculpture heart on the right - finished 7 1/4" wide x 9 1/2" high - can be made from one Silk Packet.

Although Mary Jo Hiney, the designer has made the wall hanging by hand, it could be made using other methods, including raw edge appligue. If raw-edge applique is preferred, you will need a fusible web such as Shades Soft Fuse,

Most of Mary Jo's project also use a lightweight fusible interfacing to stabilize the silk. She prefers Fusi-knit. We are expecting a shipment soon.
